RVVHSS is a reputed Govt Aided Institution managed by Shri K B Ganesh Kumar MLA, located at Valakom, Kollam Dist. Recognizing the educational backwardness of the villagers, Ramavilasom School was started in Feb. 1938 (kollavarsham 1113) by the great man Shri Keezhoot Raman Pillai. Kottakkal Shri Bhaskaran Pillai became the headmaster and Shri Ambalakkara Luckose became the first teacher. Vocational Higher Secondary Courses were started in 1994. Our aim is to provide quality education to students belonging to all sections of society. We focus not only in academic excellence but also in cultural, social, spiritual and moral empowerment of students.
